The City of Reno is currently accepting applications for an Inclusion/Behavior Specialist. We have many positions available that cater to different interests and skills. Inclusion/Behavior Specialist ($19.75-$23.75/hour) (Available year-round)
Examples of Essential Functions
Inclusion/Behavior Specialist:
- Trains staff on how to work with persons with disabilities to better include them in a traditional program settings
- Provide services directly and indirectly to a variety of individuals with cognitive, behavioral, and physical disabilities.
- May develop behavior/inclusion plans and instruct staff on implementation and modifying activities on a case by case basis.
- As assigned, conducts client observations and/or assessments and evaluates individual cases.
Minimum Qualifications
Inclusion/Behavior Specialist:
- Age: 18
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: One year paid experience working with youth in a recreational setting

License: Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: College level courses related to disabilities or a related field
- Experience: One year experience working with people with disabilities
- Certifications: CPR/AED, First Aid
