We Are Looking for Someone to
- Design and prepare plans and specifications for capital improvement projects
- Review the engineering plans and work of consultants and contractors
- Prepare detailed specifications for the purchase of materials or major equipment
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of specific reports and studies for Council presentation and for other City-sponsored study groups
- Administer/Supervise construction projects
- Conduct field inspections of projects to ensure contract enforcement
- Prepare oral and/or written reports for staff and management as appropriate
Qualifications We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible, relevant experience using civil engineering principles
- Registration as a professional engineer (PE) in the State of California or in another state that has reciprocity.
