POSITION SUMMARY:
The Streets Maintenance Worker I is responsible for performing a variety of general labor work involving all aspects of the Streets Team.
Typical duties may include but not limited to:
- Assist in the operation of hand tools/loppers. This includes the cleaning of the equipment.
- Assist with curb/line painting and sign installation which may include drilling holes, cutting channels, sign maintenance, etc.
- Assist Highways with winter maintenance.
- May work in all other areas of Streets which may include snow removal, leaf collection, grass cutting, etc.
- May require seasonal 2nd or 3rd shift.
- Performs other duties as requested and assist in other areas as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational Requirements/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six (6) months prior experience as a maintenance worker.
- Prior employment experience as a grounds maintenance worker preferred.
- Valid PA Class C Driver’s License
Salary : $15
