Job Description
We are hiring a Digital Impact Coordinator to assist in the daily operations of the Digital Impact Unit within the Community Engagement Division. Our Digital Impact programs mission is to leverage skills and relationships to create community-centered solutions that provide access to technology and resources needed to participate in the Digital Economy.
About Us:
Raleigh Digital Connectors (RDC) aims to cultivate the next generation of digital leaders by providing education about digital impact, leadership development, and service-learning opportunities to youth 9-12th grades. Raleigh Digital Ambassadors (RDA) aims to expand and increase digital impact services to the City of Raleigh residents through service learning and community engagement.
Work Hours:
This position will primarily work on weekday afternoons from 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm, and must work Saturdays from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinates, facilitates, or assists with the following:
- Digital Impact Programs, including but not limited to RDC, RDA, and Learn & Earn, as well as Advice About Your Device
- Computer Distributions to Raleigh residents
- Digital impact service events and the supervision of RDC/RDA participants
- Technology training workshops/classes
- Internal and external partnerships that support the unit’s Digital Impact initiatives and mission.
- Supports the Raleigh Digital Connectors Program and projects related to the program as needed
- Manages lab reservations and maintaining the space clean and organized
- Keeps the computer distribution room organized and clean
- Drives a City vehicle 1-2 times a week to deliver programs to different locations around the city of Raleigh
- Attends required trainings and meetings
Typical Qualifications
No minimum education level is required. Some experience with volunteer service, customer service, and strong communication skills is required.
Licensing and Certifications:
- Valid North Carolina Class C Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed both indoors and outside.
