Comfortable using basic computer programs and learning venue-specific systems and production processes.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to navigate changing schedules, fast-paced event needs, and varying levels of technical knowledge among facility users.
Provide technical support for productions and events, with a primary focus on sound and lighting.
Assist with the preparation and execution of theater productions, community events, concerts, and cultural programming held at City facilities.
Support renters and event directors by helping them navigate production needs and by maintaining a high level of professionalism and service throughout events.
Work in a professional performing arts theater environment to help ensure events run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Utilize technical theater knowledge, basic computer skills, and sound judgment to respond to live production demands in a timely and effective manner.
Contribute to a positive patron and client experience by collaborating with staff and providing courteous, solution-oriented support.

In possession of a valid California driver’s license.
Education and Experience:
High school graduation or GED equivalent and two years of experience related to the area assigned.
- Technical knowledge in assigned discipline.
- Under the direction of a supervisor, organize, prioritize and coordinate varied work activities.
- Read, interpret and apply rules, policies and procedures.
- Effectively collect and analyze complex and sensitive information.
