The Golf Course Assistant is responsible for managing the golf cart fleet, assisting players and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This role supports daily operations by maintaining equipment, coordinating cart availability, and providing excellent customer service throughout the course.
Distinguishing Characteristics:
The Golf Course Assistant is characterized by a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.• Clean and organize golf carts before and after rounds.
• Greet golfers and provide basic course information.
• Report any maintenance issues or damage.
• Prepare golf balls for play.
• Help golfers load and unload clubs and equipment.
• Keep cart storage areas tidy and organized.
• Empty trash cans or recycling bins in cart and range areas.
• Help with light tasks such as moving equipment or signage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be safety conscious.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Availability to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends as assigned.
