The City of Ottumwa is seeking a Wastewater Superintendent to lead operations at our Grade IV Activated Sludge Wastewater Treatment Facility and its associated pump stations. In this key leadership role, you’ll ensure full compliance with Iowa DNR and NPDES Permit requirements while overseeing daily plant performance, supervising staff, and managing financial operations. This position operates with a high level of autonomy, working closely with the Director of Public Works and responding to emergencies as needed, including occasional nights and weekends.
