The City of Onalaska is seeking to hire Event Attendants and Lead Event Attendants. Â Employees in these positions are responsible for a variety of tasks related to concessions and event operations. Â Scheduled hours vary for each event, but may include: mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Â These are considered Limited Term Employment positions. Work is reviewed by the Event/Recreation Coordinator.

Essential Job Functions
- Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner and take concession orders from customers.
- Assist in kitchen process such as preparation, cooking, and serving products.Â
- Process the order on cash register and return correct change; follow City cash handling policies and procedures.Â
- Balance cash drawer each shift or as directed following established cash handling policies.
- Prepare and provide concession supplies ordered by customers.Â
- Maintain cleanliness in concession area and surrounding eating areas.Â
- Follow safe food handling procedures at all times.Â
- Assist with event set-up and tear down.Â
- Assist with open skate; box office and pro-shop.Â
- Contributes to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested. The interdependency of operations is recognized and the abilities and skills exist to do other work as needed or requested. Â Assistance is given to others and special projects completed as scheduled or requested.
- Other duties as requested or assigned.Â
- Lead a crew to complete daily customer service tasks.

Salary : $10 - $15
