What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Specialist (Part Time) position at City of North Myrtle Beach?
To ensure a safe and clean fitness environment for members and guests. Working knowledge of fitness equipment and training principals. Provide patron orientation to equipment and assist with workouts on a general basis. Know, understand and enforce rules and regulations governing the conduct of patrons and facility emergency procedures. Respond to public needs in a courteous and professional manner. Report comments/complaints regarding facility, staff or patrons to supervisor. Provide day- to- day maintenance and cleaning of facility and equipment. Assist with special events and programs as needed.Current certification in CPR/PR, First Aid, ACSM, ACE or NSCA preferred but not required. Good communication skills.
