What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childwatch Specialist (Part Time) position at City of North Myrtle Beach?
To ensure a safe and creative environment for children age six months through 10 years of age. Coordinate and instruct a variety of activities and recreational opportunities within a daycare setting. Respond to public needs in a courteous manner and report comments/complaints regarding facility, staff or patrons to supervisor. Assist in day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of child watch area.
Hours may range from 12-16 hours per week. Flexibility to work morning or evening within the following schedule: Monday through Friday, 8a.m. - 12p.m. & 3:30p.m. - 7:30p.m. and Saturdays 8a.m. - 12p.m.
Must be 16 years of age. Current certification in Community CPR/PR and First Aid. Some experience working with children.
