The Norfolk Healthcare Consortium is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Management Analyst I. This role will support the HRIS Administrator/Budget Analyst by processing accounts payable and receivable, analyzing data to identify trends, reconciling billings, and assisting with budget tasks. Responsibilities also include adding and updating benefit plans in the various benefits enrollment systems, calculating and testing benefit deductions, reconciling and paying benefit vendor invoices and providing daily support to the HRIS Administrator/Budget Analyst.
Essential functions include but are not limited to:- Support HRIS Administrator on managing the Consortium budget, paying & reconciling vendor invoices, processing accounting transactions in the AFMS system
- Aggregate data and analyze to understand patterns and trends
- Interact with the benefits team to collect, test, and support benefit administration functions
- Manage vendor contracts
- Monitor various expenses, projects and accounts
- Assist with budget preparation by providing accounting support and analyzing data
- Support and maintain the benefits administration platforms to assist the HRIS Administrator
Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through two years of college resulting in an associate’s degree or equivalent.
2 years’ experience in accounting, data analysis or related field, and benefits enrollment administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects while exercising flexibility due to frequently changing priorities.
- The ability to take initiative and be resourceful to ensure projects are completed in a successful and timely manner.
- Experience with AFMS or other accounting software.
- Experience in performing and understanding financial transactions.
- Expertise in Microsoft application: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with advanced Excel functions and Power BI
Salary : $54,191 - $72,490
