The City of Newport is looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and service-minded individuals to join our team of Specialty Instructors to bring exciting new programs to the residents of Newport.
As a Specialty Instructor, you’ll help our members stay active, build friendships, and maintain the physical and mental well-being that comes from moving together.

- Lead safe, welcoming classes tailored to diverse audiences
- Maintain certifications on annual basis or as certifications require
- Help keep your classroom clean and organized after each session
- Provide excellent internal and external customer service. Create a positive experience for participants and staff through professional and courteous behavior.
- People who have training and certification in fitness of life enrichment activities
- Those with a passion for helping people and serving the community
- Great leaders with a sense of fun and excitement about bringing your class together
