Job Opportunity: Library Circulation Clerk
Are you a friendly, organized person who loves your community? The City of Nacogdoches Library is looking for an enthusiastic Circulation Clerk to join our team and help our patrons discover, learn and grow.
About the Role:
You will be the welcoming face of our library! In this role, you will help ensure our library operations run smoothly by providing excellent customer service, assisting patrons with technology and resources and supporting library programs and events.
What You'll Do:
Greet patrons and provide a welcoming, positive environment.
Manage circulation desk procedures and basic clerical tasks.
Assist patrons with computers, digital resources and library equipment.
Help set up and implement library events and programs.
Promote library services to the community.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 semesters of college or prior public library experience is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus. (Additional certification pay up to $200.00 a month for bilingual skills.)
