What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreation Program Coordinator position at City of Mountain Home?
The City of Mountain Home Parks & Recreation Department is seeking an energetic and organized Recreation Program Coordinator to help create quality recreational opportunities for our community. This position plans and coordinates sports, outdoor recreation, and special events; manages program schedules and registrations; promotes activities through social media and the City website; and builds partnerships with schools, businesses, volunteers, and community organizations.
The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, comfortable working with the public and youth, and able to manage multiple programs and events. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Arkansas driver’s license, and at least two years of related education or experience. Some nights, weekends, holidays, and special events are required.
