We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our dynamic facilities team at our brand-new Aquatics Center. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when required, including high-pressure washing or deep cleaning projects
- Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate teams
- Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as needed to facilitate cleaning or event setups
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal use
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods is a plus
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair skills
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
