General Description
Come work for the Parks Division as a Winter Attendant or Special Event Attendant! The successful candidates for these positions will use independent judgment to apply established policies and procedures in order to perform varied public contact services, which may include customer service work, cash handling, staffing events and programs, routine labor and custodial work, light clerical duties, set up work, etc.
HOURS: Approximately 0-40 hours per week, including weekdays, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Hours are intermittent and will vary based on weather, outdoor conditions, availability, and capacity.

CANDIDATES AGE 15 OR OLDER ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THESE POSITIONS.
Candidates who are age 14 and will reach age 15 on or before January 17, 2026 may apply, but will not be scheduled for work until reaching age 15.

Winter Attendant
Work is performed under the supervision of the Recreation Services Coordinator and the Aquatic and Parks Program Coordinator.The majority of work is performed indoors; work locations vary.
- Explain policies and procedures and enforce them as needed

- Maintain inventory
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Special Event Attendant

Minimum Qualifications
All applicants will be considered for these positions. Depending on the number of applications, random selection may be used to determine who will proceed to the interview process.

Special Requirements
- Must be 15 years of age or older on or before first scheduled work shift.
- Special Event Attendants and Winter Attendants who are at least 18 years of age and who possess a valid driver's license may operate City vehicles as part of their job duties. Attendants who are under age 18 or who do not possess a valid driver's license are prohibited from operating City vehicles. Vehicle operation is not a mandatory duty of the Attendant classification.
