General Description
The City of Madison Parking Division is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead capital improvement projects, facility renovations, major maintenance initiatives, and technology upgrades across our parking system. This position manages projects from planning through construction, working with vendors, contractors, City agencies, and operational staff to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality facilities while minimizing impacts to daily operations. The position exercises considerable independent judgment and reports to the Parking Operations Manager.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Employees may be eligible for loan forgiveness through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Four (4) years of experience in applying the following:
- Principles, theories, and practices of construction management and administration work, particularly as they relate to the coordination of building construction and remodeling projects;
- Methods and techniques associated with the construction and management of public works facilities projects;
- Computer software applicable to the duties of the position including construction management software (e.g. Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud) and Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook); AND
- Familiarity with procedural aspects of public sector contracting and capital budgeting processes.

- Five (5) years of responsible, professional experience in the management and administration of construction and facilities projects; AND
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Technology, or a closely related field.

- Three (3) years of responsible, professional experience in the management and administration of construction and facilities projects; AND
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a closely related field.
