JOB OBJECTIVE: To provide supervision, instruction, counseling, and coaching to participants in activities at therapeutic recreation summer camp program.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to develop and implement programs and activities.
• Ability to assign and review the work activities of part time workers.
• Ability to develop and maintain event schedules.
• Ability to collect revenue and keep accurate records for the summer program.
• Ability to conduct interviews with applicants for the summer program.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Must be a college graduate.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Arkansas Driver's License.
• Must have at least two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Must have at least one (1) year of paid experience (full-time or part-time) working with children.

Regular part-time employees who work 1,500 hours shall receive six (6) days of Sick Leave upon the completion of the 1,500 hours. If unused, this Sick Leave shall be allowed to accumulate to a maximum of fifteen (15) days (120 hours). Regular, full-time non-probationary employees who transfer to Regular, part-time positions will receive credit for the previous year's service for purposes of Sick Leave accrual and may carry over accrued Sick Leave accrual up to the maximum noted above.

Regular Part-time Employees Who Were In Pay Status (vacation, Sick Leave, Or Actual Hours Worked) For At Least 1,500 Hours During The Year Shall Receive The Following Vacation Leave

Up to 10 years of service (40 hrs.) = 5 days per year

10 years or more (60 hrs.) = 7-1/2 days per year
