JOB OBJECTIVE: To provide care for animals impounded at the City Animal Shelter and to perform humane disposal of animals.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of high school, six (6) months of experience in the care of domestic animals. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

- Must possess euthanasia certification within six (6) months of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
