Laconia Public Works owns and operates the City's Sewer Department. We are seeking an individual to work in construction, operation, repair and replacement of municipal wastewater collection and pump systems.
Primary duties include work in construction, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of municipal wastewater collection and pump systems.
Starting Salary Range $26.55 – $28.17

The Pump Station Assistant must demonstrate an interest and aptitude in all phases of the sanitary sewer collections system. This position requires availability to respond to after-hours duties within 30 minutes of contact. Confined space training is preferred but not a must. The Pump Station Assistant must be capable of obtaining a Collection System Operator Grade I Certificate from New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) within six months of employment.
