What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performing Arts Center Concessions Worker position at City of Kirkwood?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up, stock, and prepares concession areas for service during performances and events. Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as prepackaged food to KPAC guests and patrons. Check ID's and accepts orders for concessions and prepares items. Follows sanitation guidelines. Maintain stock and recommend product ordering. Runs sales reports as required. Prepares bank deposits and places deposits and cash drawers in secured storage. Maintains cleanliness of concession area. Answers phones and provides information to patrons of the performing arts center. Close and reset concession areas at end of performances and events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to use computer equipment.
- Ability to read computer screens and process orders.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of up to four hours.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to lift 50 pounds and restock inventory. Work is primarily done in an indoor arts center setting.
