The starting salary for Bus Drivers are $20.00 per hour. Drivers who work a shift scheduled to last 10 hours or more from start to finish are eligible for an additional $1.50 per hour split-shift differential for all hours worked during that shift.
Drivers provide safe, courteous, on-time bus transportation and customer service on assigned city routes and/or para-transit service; perform pre-trip safety inspections; and provide assistance to persons with disabilities when necessary.
Must have excellent customer service skills, outstanding dependability, and ability to accurately and thoroughly complete paperwork, work safely, communicate clearly, sit for extended periods, work in extreme weather conditions, and aid disabled passengers.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Hiring is dependent on successful completion of DOT Physical, pre-employment drug screening, criminal history, and drivers license's check.
JeffTran operates Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
