Education and Experience – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

Education High School diploma or GED.

Experience No previous experience is required.

Certifications None

Licensing Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License, with a clear driving record.

Summary

Operates Sewer inspection camera equipment to accurately inspect Sanitary and Storm Sewer collection lines from below the street level of the site. These inspections are used to mark the sewer/storm utilities so that the City can prevent or repair damage to the system.

Essential Job Functions

· Provide camera service for sanitary and storm sewer main line inspections. Check manholes and storm drains.

· Operate the remote-controlled sewer camera, recording all data and monitor findings. Check for damage. monitor the water flow.

· Paperwork and computer work. Responsible for the timely and comprehensive submittal of reports and requests for the repair and replacement proposals for residential drain systems.

Rapid View, Outlook, IKAS Mini, IKAS Evolution, Libre Office and Inspections and analysis software.

Work Environment or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.

· May be required to work in high or dangerous places.

· May often be exposed to uncomfortable temperatures, humidity, noise, chemicals/gases, contagious diseases, airborne particles/pathogens, and/or physical trauma.
