What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal - Allstar Sports Camp Coach position at City of Jacksonville?

Program End: 7/24/26
- Assist in organizing and leading sports activities including football, basketball, soccer, and other recreational games
- Supervise campers during sports programs, camp activities, and transitions
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior
- Ensure safety procedures and department policies are followed at all times
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and general camp operations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, participants, and parents as needed
- Experience working with youth in a recreational, educational, or athletic setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic sports rules and fundamentals
- Ability to supervise groups of children and maintain a safe environment
- Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and interact positively with the public
- Outdoor and indoor recreation facilities
- Seasonal, temporary position
- May require evenings and/or weekends
