The successful candidate:
Schedule
Performs all offered respiratory therapies, ventilator management, EKG’s, Pulse oximetry, pulmonary function tests and special procedures via Pulmonologist and Nursing Manager.
Operates and manages respiratory equipment and supplies to ensure safe and accurate patient care.
Performs and assists in training of new/temporary Respiratory Therapists within scope of practice and experience.
Performs clerical duties such as chart data entry, input of department charges, document filing, and other tasks as assigned

The successful candidate:
Schedule
- Status: PRN (as needed) - not full time
- Shift: 12‑hour shifts
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Minimum Requirement: Must be available to work at least three (3) shifts per schedule period (every 6 weeks)

Position Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Current Illinois Respiratory Therapist license
- CPR certification
- ACLS
- National Certification (RRT)
- Minimum of three (3) years of critical care/ICU experience preferred
- Strong background in bedside patient care
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Strong organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
