This position is responsible for performing general laboring duties.

Assists with performing street maintenance duties.
Assists with forming and finishing concrete.
Assists with construction of stormwater infrastructure.
Operates lawn mower, weed eater, hedge trimmer, or other equipment as needed.
After-hours work is required as necessary during emergencies, inclement weather and other times as necessary.
Knowledge of City and safety policies and procedures.
Skill in using such tools and equipment as a shovel, rake, chainsaw, chipper, and weed eater.
Skill in following instructions.

An employee in this position will have successfully passed a "Functional Prework Screen" administered by a professional and impartial third party specialist.
SAFETY SENSITIVE: This position has been identified as safety-sensitive. The employee in this position will be part of a random drug testing pool. The methodology for choosing the random test subjects is handled by an outside, impartial, third party vendor.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is typically performed outdoors. The employee may be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, machinery with moving parts, and inclement weather. The work requires the use of protective devices such as masks, goggles, or gloves.Salary : $37,532 - $48,792
