What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guthrie Parks & Urban Forestry Board position at City of Guthrie?
The City of Guthrie is requesting applications for persons interested in volunteering to serve as a member of the Guthrie Parks and Urban Forestry Board. The purpose of the Board is to serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council on matters pertaining to the Guthrie City Parks, Urban Forestry and Recreational areas. The Parks and Urban Forestry Board is a 7-member board who serve 2-year staggered terms, and is appointed by the Mayor. Board members must reside within the Guthrie City Limits and have lived in Guthrie at least one year. The Board meets bi-monthly at Guthrie Public Works; meeting information can be found here.
