The Guthrie Public Library Board meets quarterly on the third Thursday of January, April, July, and October, and serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on all matters concerning the Guthrie Public Library. Ordinance No. 2678 requires the Guthrie Library Board to consist of five (5) citizens of the City of Guthrie who have been residents within the corporate limits for at least one year. All members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council. Responsibilities: Review the policies of the library.Assist the director in short and long-range planning for the libraryServe as library advocates by promoting the library at all times through their daily activities.Please consider volunteering and giving back to your community!
