| - Fare collection system repair and maintenance.

| - Translate industry terminology into straightforward terms for explanatory purposes.
| - Use pertinent test equipment including computers, gauges, and various types of handheld, mechanical and electronic testing or diagnostic equipment.
| - Operate revenue and non-revenue vehicles in and around bus garage/shop areas and on and along public rights-of-way.

| - Organize work to minimize downtime.
| - Make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.

| - Work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and a reasonable amount of overtime.
| - Read, understand, and implement technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, service updates, and procedures, related to the maintenance and repair of vehicles and their systems.
| - Write reports and compose emails in a clear and professional manner.
| - Make mathematical calculations and draw logical conclusions; work with fractions, percentages, ratios/proportions and measurements.
| - Use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, electrical power tools, pneumatic power tools, a/c recovery machine, forklift, grinders, calipers, micrometers, drill press, and hydraulic press.
| - Operate general office equipment to include scanner, printer, copier, telephone, and computer with Microsoft Office Suite.
| - Utilize specialized software and systems to include Cummins Insight, Allison DOC, Proterra Diagnostics, and Luminator destination sign software.
