- Hourly Employment: Roster positions are paid hourly and do not include benefits such as medical, dental, or vision insurance, life insurance, paid leave, or paid holidays.
- Limited Hours: Roster employees may work up to, but no more than, 1,000 hours in a 12-month period.
- Pension System: Roster positions are not eligible for membership in the city’s pension system.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- "OR" an equivalency of No High School diploma, but .4 years of directly related experience or training.
An Ideal Candidate Would Also Possess (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of City Code related to solid waste, recycling, yard waste, and public right-of-way regulations.
- Ability to interpret and enforce municipal codes and policies fairly and consistently.
- Strong observational, documentation, and investigative skills.
- Ability to use mobile devices, digital forms (JotForm), and cameras for field documentation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining accountability and professionalism.
- Ability to interact tactfully with residents, business owners, and vulnerable populations.
