The Housing & Neighborhood Development Department is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Federal Grant Compliance Coordinator to oversee and ensure program compliance related to federally, state, and locally funded housing and community development initiatives. This position plays a vital role in supporting Greensboro's strategic goals, community growth, and program accountability.

The Federal Grant Compliance Coordinator manages regulatory and program compliance for all activities funded through the Housing & Neighborhood Development Department. Successful candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Â Responsibilities include:
 Analyze monitoring results and prepare detailed reports outlining findings, concerns, and recommendations. * Environmental Reviews:
 Manage environmental review processes; coordinate consultants and required documentation; ensure appropriate levels of review. * Federal Compliance Oversight:
 Administer and provide oversight for Section 3, Davis-Bacon, Fair Housing, and other federal crosscutting requirements. * Cross-Department Coordination:
Requirements
 Serve as liaison to the Office of Business Opportunity; collaborate with project managers on regulatory requirements. * Training & Technical Assistance:
 Plan and facilitate training for staff and external agencies; lead annual mandatory training for nonprofit leadership. * HUD Planning & Reporting:
Required
 Support development of the Five-Year Consolidated Plan, annual action plans, performance reports, and other required HUD submissions. * IDIS Data Support:
 Work with staff to ensure the accuracy of data within HUD's Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS). * HUD Monitoring Prep:
 Assist with departmental readiness efforts for HUD monitoring visits.

What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 to 6 years of related experience in grant compliance, housing programs, community development, or similar fields
- "OR" an equivalency of an Associate's Degree with 6 to 8 years of related experience in grant compliance, housing programs, community development, or similar fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience with federal policies, program regulations, and grant management procedures
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines
- Public speaking experience
