Estimated Hiring Salary Range: $58,430 - $76,882 Full Salary Range: $58,430- $104,560 Annually, depending on qualifications.

Work Schedule: Work schedule will vary. Typical office hours weekday; between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; evenings and weekends; depending on events and facility operation needs. On call availability will be required.

About the Role
The Admin Sports Facilities position is a key role responsible for supervising and coordinating operations, scheduling, and contract management at the city’s outdoor athletic facilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of athletic facility management, event and program coordination, contract administration, and budget oversight. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and managing facility utilization and maintenance schedules.
- Cultivating partnerships to grow program offerings in alignment with City and Department goals.
- Overseeing contract development and administration for events and long-term agreements.
- Managing facility budgets, expenditures, and revenue collection.
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff.
- Coordinating maintenance plans and marketing efforts for athletic facilities.
- Ensuring risk management, incident resolution, and customer satisfaction.
- Assessing community demand and planning for future program improvements.

Qualifications
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in athletic facility management, event and program management, contract management, and budget oversight.
- “OR” Associate Degree with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in athletic facility management, event and program management, contract management, and budget oversight.
- “OR” High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience in athletic facility management, event and program management, contract management, and budget oversight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Parks and Recreation Management, Exercise Sports Science, Sports Management, Education, or Public Administration.

- CPRP (Certified Parks and Recreation Professional)
- CYSA (Certified Youth and Sports Administrator)
- Experience with RecTrac software or similar recreation management software.
