The City of Grandview is hiring a Maintenance Worker – Sewer to help maintain critical infrastructure that keeps our community running. This is a hands-on position with variety, stability, and opportunities to grow your skills.
What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain sewer lines and manholes
- Operate light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment
- Respond to emergencies, including floods and snow events
- Perform general Public Works maintenance (mowing, trimming, repairs)
- Assist with facility maintenance and inspections
- Participate in on-call rotation and snow response
The Ideal Candidate

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL with air brake & tanker endorsements within 90 days
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical
Preferred
- CDL license
- Public Works or sewer maintenance experience
- Heavy equipment experience
Work Environment
This is a hands-on, outdoor position that involves physical work, equipment operation, and working in all weather conditions.
