The City of Goodyear is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as Recreation Instructor – Teen Room at the Goodyear Recreation Center.
This position will oversee the use of the teen center and provide a fun experience for our youth audience (focused on 8-18 years), supervise teen events, and connect with participants.
This is a part-time position, and the ideal candidate will possess good customer service and communication skills, be positive and friendly, and be willing to assist in a variety of Goodyear Recreation Center operational areas.

- Minimum one-year experience in customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to instruct with sounds principles
- Ability to speak and communicate in large and small groups with poise and enthusiasm
- Supervise participants in programs and design programming as required
- Respond to questions and aid facility users
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility and equipment Event and program set-up and take down
- Event and program set-up and take down
- Enforce all rules on a consistent basis
- Handle disputes in a professional manner
- Maintain a safe work environment, report all problems with facility or equipment to a supervisor
