The mandatory coaches meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 19 6:00–7:00 PM at the Goodyear Recreation Center. The season begins the week of June 1 and runs for 7 weeks.

- Practices: Mondays or Tuesdays
- Games:
- Ages 5–6 (coed) & 7–8 (coed): Thursdays starting June 11
- Ages 9 and up: Wednesdays starting June 10
- All activities take place between 5:00–9:00 PM
- No games or practices on June 19
Volunteer Coach Benefits
- Account credit upon successful completion of the season (resident rate: $90)
- “Save 5” program allowing coaches to request up to 5 players for their team (this includes your child and player(s) who must be registered for the season)
- Reserved indoor practice space at local Goodyear school gyms
- Practice equipment provided
- Access to the MOJO coaching app for drills, videos, and resources
- Coach polo
- Opportunity to earn volunteer hours
- Attend the in-person coaches meeting
- Communicate with your team and parents throughout the season (TeamSnap, phone, text, etc.)
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of the game and ability to teach skills and drills
- Interact professionally and respectfully with players, parents, coaches, officials, spectators, and staff
- Plan and lead engaging, instructional practices
- Teach sportsmanship and teamwork
- Educate participants on rules and program expectations
- Communicate effectively with all program participants and stakeholders
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Submit a volunteer application and pass a background check
- Agree to and follow the Code of Conduct
- Coaches Meeting: May 19, 6:00–7:00 PM (Goodyear Recreation Center)
- Practices: Begin week of June 1 (Mon/Tues, 5:00–9:00 PM)
- Games:
- Wednesdays (ages 9 ) starting June 10
- Thursdays (ages 5–8) starting June 11
Salary : $90
