Job Description:

GENERAL PURPOSE: Under the general direction of the Solid Waste Supervisor or Designee incumbent performs a variety of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks in the maintenance operation and litter control of the Solid Waste Department equipment and related grounds including recycling locations and other City properties.


Additional Information:

STARTING SALARY PAY: $16.45 p/h

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two (2) year general maintenance experience or closely related field
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
    • Valid driver’s license (state of residence) that meets city’s insurability requirements

Other Conditions:
  • Must pass background check.
    • Days and hours of work may vary including weekends and holidays depending on operational needs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to acquire Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
