Support big-picture theatre operations, streamline processes, and help every event run like a showstopper.
What You'll Do
Support the Theatre Manager with overall venue operations, strategic planning, and cross-department coordination at Foellinger Theatre. Help ensure event and venue readiness, track operational needs, assist with rentals and promoters, and maintain administrative oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with workflow improvements, long-term planning, and operational procedures
- Coordinate cross-department event readiness with FOH, Box Office, Bars & Concessions, and Facilities teams
- Track event performance, KPIs, budgets, and vendor relations
- Support scheduling, staff communication, and operational documentation
- Act as point of contact for promoters, vendors, sponsors, and community events
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervise volunteers, contract staff, and seasonal employees
What You Bring | Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Experience in venue operations, planning, business administration, or event logistics
- Experience in fast-paced event settings
Required Certifications
- Valid Indiana Driver's License
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to plan strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of theatre operations and event coordination
- Demonstrated supervisory and training skills
