Cemetery Maintenance - As a Seasonal Cemetery Maintenance Worker, you will play an essential role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of our three municipal cemeteries (North Lawn, Memorial Park and Oakland). Your primary responsibilities will include mowing, trimming, maintaining headstones and markers, assisting in locating, digging, and filling burial sites, and performing general landscaping duties. This position requires a strong work ethic, respect for the solemn nature of the environment, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
The Ideal Candidate Must
Average Weekly Workload: 40 hours (including weekends and holidays as required)
Seasonal applicants who are 18 years of age and older that receive a conditional offer of employment will need to complete a background check, and those who will be driving a City vehicle will need to pass a drug test.
