Job Summary

- Establishes and maintains effective office systems and procedures, including supply inventory.
- Provides customer service for internal customers and citizens, including explanation and interpretation of policies and procedures, in person, via email, and telephone.
- Responsible for supporting a specific project or program for a department or division as assigned.
- Enters data, compiles records and reports; tabulates or posts data; may develop and maintain data bases.
- Compiles and organizes materials for various programs and/or projects.
- Provides clerical support including preparing or answering correspondence; may open and route incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- May provide basic financial support through fee collection, data entry and tracking.
- May coordinate schedules for meetings, training, or travel; may prepare agenda for and transcribe minutes at meetings.
- Acts as liaison to other City offices.
- May administer document and record management systems.
- May help plan department events.
- May assist with scheduling, set up, and catering for Boards and Commissions as needed.
