- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or closely related field, supplemented by five (5) to seven (7) years of customer service experience combined with three (3) to five (5) years supervisory experience; or an Associates Degree in Business Administration, or closely related field, supplemented by seven (7) to ten (10) years of customer service experience combined with three (3) to five (5) years supervisory experience
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
The Billing and Customer Service Supervisor must be able to coordinate, manage, and supervise daily billing, customer service and revenue collection activities for the Utility Finance Division and perform related professional, supervisory, administrative, and technical work as assigned. Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to train and mentor employees, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Applicants must also have proven problem solving, decision-making, planning, and organizing skills. Applicants should have demonstrated computer skills to include knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software; and the ability to work successfully with a municipal finance team, demonstrating interpersonal skills which facilitate successful communication and compliment a cooperative and productive working relationship within and outside the organization.
