Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a City Manager located in Fernley, NV. The City Manager will oversee daily operations of the city, manage city staff, and ensure implementation of policies and programs as directed by the City Council. Responsibilities include budgeting, strategic planning, and interfacing with the community, businesses, and other governmental agencies. The City Manager will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring optimal city services for residents.
Qualifications
- Team Management and Team Leadership skills
- Analytical Skills including strategic planning and budgeting
- Customer Service experience
- Proficiency in Sales and interfacing with the community
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to oversee and manage city staff effectively
- Experience in municipal government or a related field is a plus
