Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business or Public Administration, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, and one (1) year of professional administrative or secretarial experience to an executive public or private sector official.
Licenses and Certificates: Valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License or equivalent from another state by date of appointment.
General Purpose
Typical Duties
Serve as the liaison between City departments for constituent-related issues and other issues as they arise. Assist in finding ways to meet constituency needs while working within the City's policies and procedures. Work with community and neighborhood groups to resolve concerns in a timely manner. Assist in reviewing various proposals and projects. Monitor and track special projects, priorities, and inquiries. Assist in maintaining a calendar of activities, meetings, and various events for the Mayor. Coordinate activities with City departments, public, and outside agencies. Perform other related duties as assigned.
