We’re looking for a part-time Library Custodian to clean and maintain the library building and grounds.

Essential Job Duties
What You’ll Do in This Role:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors to maintain a clean environment for library visitors
- Dust furniture and clean windows and glassware throughout the facility
- Sanitize and stock restrooms, kitchen areas, and water fountains
- Pick up litter, sweep sidewalks, and remove snow or ice from library grounds
- Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for community meetings and library programs
- Perform minor building repairs such as replacing light bulbs and checking for leaks
- Check light fixtures and electrical outlets for visible damage or maintenance needs and report concerns
- Keep accurate logs of work performed and equipment used during your shift
- Help create a secure and welcoming environment for both staff and patrons
You Have:
- Previous cleaning and/or landscape experience (preferred)
- The ability to follow written instructions and maintain simple work logs
- Are reliable and can work independently and manage your daily tasks
- Follow instructions and complete work with consistency and care
- Enjoy interacting with the community members and staff in a friendly, professional manner
