What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Tradesworker I position at City of Conway?
The City of Conway is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Utility Tradesworker I. This position performs semiskilled and skilled work in the installation, repair and maintenance of water and sewer lines and appurtenances; installs, repairs and replaces water and sewer taps and service connections; installs and replaces water meters, fire hydrants and valves; operates trucks, air hammers and other mechanical equipment. May be required to work second shift or after hours on an on-call basis; does related work as required. Work is performed under the regular supervision of a Utility Crew Leader.

Minimum Experience and Training: High School Diploma or GED; one (1) year of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Special Requirements: Must obtain an Asbestos Cement Certification within twelve (12) months of employment.
Entry level pay for this position is $17.72 per hour $18.49 per hour with Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
