Summer 2026 City of Concord Housing Internship
The City of Concord’s Housing Division is at the forefront of some of the most pressing housing challenges facing our community. With newly adopted Rent Stabilization and Just Cause for Eviction regulations now in effect, and an active Housing Element planning period underway, this is an especially meaningful time to join our team.
We are seeking a motivated student or recent graduate to support implementation of and community outreach for the City’s Housing programs. By the end of this internship, you will have worked on issues that directly impact tenants and property owners, and worked with City staff on policy implementation, gaining hands-on experience in public service and the housing sector.
Programs you’ll support include:
- Fair Housing Services
- Residential Tenant Protection Program, including Rent Stabilization, Just Cause for Eviction regulations, and the Rent Registry Program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan, coordinate, and market fair housing training sessions for rental property owners during the Housing Element planning period, in cooperation with ECHO Housing
- Support the Rent Registry program and its program compliance efforts

- Detail oriented, collaborative, and able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
