The purpose of this job is to perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, and grounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description
  • Maintains cleanliness of city facilities.


  • Conducts preventative maintenance of structures and equipment; performs minor repairs to fixtures as directed.

  • Assists with ordering, maintaining, and distributing supplies.

  • Repairs or replaces appliances and equipment.

  • Paints prepared surfaces.

  • Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities
  • No supervisory authority. Work may require providing guidance and training to others.

Education and Experience - An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.


  • 1 year of related experience.

Licenses or Certifications
  • Depending on the assignment, it may require Pesticide Applicator Certification or other relevant certification.
