What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Intern position at City of Colleyville, TX?
Under direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the purpose of this position is to provide technical and/or administrative support for a variety of departmental functions including but not limited to: recruitment, selection, benefits, wellness, classification and compensation, risk management, and records management. Performs related work as required. The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification. It is not necessarily descriptive of any one position in the class. - Assists with various human resources management functions including recruitment, selection, benefits, wellness, compensation, risk management, and records management.
- Provides research support, assemble information, compile statistics, and prepare reports.
- Maintains good employee relations through timely and accurate response to questions and concerns; responds to sensitive issues while maintaining complete confidentiality.
- Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.
- Regular and timely attendance are required for this position.
- Must be in the process of acquiring a Bachelor's Degree with completion of at least 90 credit hours in Human Resources or closely related field.
- Must possess and maintain a valid State of Texas Driver's License.
