Position Summary: Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks within custodial job responsibilities for varies City facilities. This is not a full list of job duties; additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Facility Accessibility:
Drive to various City facilities as required.
Task Management:
Perform cleaning and repair tasks assigned by the Supervisor for designated facilities.
Document daily maintenance and report required repairs to the Supervisor.
Custodial and Maintenance Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of City facilities, including:
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting carpets and furniture.
Emptying trash cans and garbage bins, replacing liners as needed.
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and replenishing toiletries.
Cleaning spills, drinking fountains, mirrors, tables, walls, fixtures, light fixtures, blinds, and washing accessible windows.
Grounds Maintenance:
Pick up litter around buildings and grounds to ensure a clean environment.
Event Support:
Assist with the preparation, maintenance, and takedown of events as scheduled.

Other Duties:
Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Required Education, Degrees, Certifications, And / Or Licenses:
Education
High School Graduate or GED equivalent required.
Experience
Prior custodial and/or maintenance work preferred.
Additional Requirements
Driver’s License
Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Pre-employment Screening:
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, physical examination, and background check is required.
