The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Parks Maintenance Worker, full-time with benefits. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

Do you have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record?
Do you have at least one (1) year of ground maintenance experience? Ground maintenance is defined as maintaining landscapes in a healthy, clean, safe, and attractive condition, typically in a park, school, municipal, or institutional setting. Duties may include cleaning and sanitizing public restrooms, ramadas, and picnic areas; performing general landscape and cleanup tasks such as trash and debris removal, graffiti removal, and litter pickup; mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, cultivating, fertilizing, watering, and pruning; preparing athletic fields for sports activities (including measuring and laying out field lines, setting bases and goal nets); and performing minor sprinkler irrigation repairs.

- Completion of eighth grade, no experience required; and
- A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- 1 year of landscaping, irrigation, or sports field maintenance experience.
