The City of Chandler Building and Facilities Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as HVAC Senior Technician. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, consisting of five 8-hour shifts.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

- A High School Diploma or GED; and
- 5 years of experience equivalent to technicians certificate in an HVAC specialized field or a 4-year approved HVAC apprenticeship program; or
- 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, including 2 years of working on large tonnage chilled water systems; and
- An EPA & Arizona State Refrigerant Certification upon hire or promotion; and
- A Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Certification within 1 year of hire or promotion; and
- A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
- Experience working with building automation systems (BAS).
